Paula M. Aman DMSc, PA-C

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Concordia College, with a Natural Science degree, Biology/Chemistry and a health minor, she attended UW-Madison Medical School where she completed her PA training and shortly after graduation became board-certified. Paula completed her Doctor of Medical Science degree through the University of Lynchburg with her doctoral paper entitled, “Efficacy of Botulinum Toxin in the Treatment of Bruxism.”

Her career began and continued in family medicine and urgent care for 10 years, after which she transitioned to plastic surgery where she enjoyed a wide variety of hospital and clinically based procedures and eventually became heavily involved in cosmetic dermatology. Over the course of 17+ years of injecting experience as well as training with world renown physicians, Dr. Arthur Swift, Dr. Steven Yoelin, and Dr. Mauricio de Maio, Paula continues to enjoy learning something new every day. She stays current with the latest approaches, techniques and products available in the US and continues to “perfect” her skill and loves sharing this “joy” with others.

Paula takes great pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment, a gentle touch, a thorough explanation of procedures and a safe and natural outcome. She is committed to a graceful aging process with the use of aesthetic injectables, with a “less is more” philosophy. She understands the importance of thoroughly understanding facial anatomy and the “safer zones” of the face, as well as understanding the many intricacies of various filler options. After many years of experience in plastic surgery, dermatology and family medicine, Dr. Aman has founded Derm by Design and is excited to offer her own brand of cosmetic dermatology in beautiful North Oaks, MN.
